I wonder why I find it so incredibly hard to stay in the day.
I jump ahead to what will I will lose in a week or a month. Then I lose focus on the day.
My goal today is to stay in today.

You can do it, Letta! Long term success is just a big chain of good days with maybe a few not so good ones mixed in, since none of us is perfect. Just do well today and let tomorrow take care of itself. Each day has enough worries of its own. I'm sure that sounds familliar. ;)

Hi Letta. I think it's important to think about where you want to be in the future because that is your motivation to keep going on the right path in the here and now. Just keep connecting the future with the here and now and you'll be fine.
ReplyDeleteYou say a lot in very few words!
Best wishes,

When I first started, my blog motto was "One day a time". I've re-visted that motto many times recently...sometimes that's all you can do. I love your attitude Letta...I love your perseverance and how you never give up...it's such a pleasure to follow your travels on the road to Freedom...do you know what a fantastic day it's going to be when we each get to stand in front of the mirror on the days we reach our goals and say, "I did it...I really did it"...I think about that day all the time. :)
ReplyDeleteHi - This is my first visit to your blog...it's great. The title is rather relevant as I've been writing about struggling with bingeing for the last couple of months! Ugh. It is hard to stay in the moment, isn't it. But that's where life is lived. Keep striving! I'll be back. Leslie
